Be wary of dubious awards and titles
Be wary of self-promoting advertisements claiming the practitioner is a “Top Doctor” or “Nationally ranked”. Most are paid for advertisements and can be quite misleading for patients.
State medical boards, national medical societies and hospital systems simply do not rate or rank doctors.
